Actually, at closer inspection you can hear him clicking his mouse when he is finished speaking...making it seem as if he is prompting all of these voice responses. Sigh. What a disappointment. Don't believe me? Listen closely to around the 51 - 52 second mark.

I got one of these calls at work. The only way I could tell it was a robot was the delayed response. Yeah, it was pretty creepy.
