I don't know how he got a fanbase but he does

His voice mad annoying and he's the definition of a swagger jacker

He's not nice he just raps fast and uses a lot of words but he ain't saying anything

But sadly he's here to stay
He at least not boring as fukk like Cole :mjlol:

Breh even got a fake Action Bronson :mjlol:

He's dope but he's definitely derivative.

In the 90's somebody like him would have probably been put through some development...nikkas now a days will call you a plant if you bubble under the radar and then all of a sudden get some press once it clicks or you become a more complete artist. I feel like he got his deal and is developing out in the open, which has it's pros and cons. Either way he should probably stop listening to so many of his contemporaries, a lot of rappers don't even listen to rap or will at least bring in influences from other genres more so than from other rap and it shows.

I get what Logic is trying to do but he's failing at it , he's trying to be the full package of all the rappers from Drake and Gambino sing song pattern , Sean's kiddish voice , Kendricks flow and mix it to one but he comes off as a biter

Right, like I said a developing artists is probably going to sound a lot like the people he listens to, but you're supposed to burn through those influences until you find who YOU are. It feels like he's still going through that process while being presented as a somewhat finished project and it's just like ...

:patrice:

The draw back of developing like that is being rewarded for it giving you the incentive to keep it on that same level. He's got the talent but it's gonna take some more things that differentiate him from his contemporaries besides the fact that he looks like you could beat him up. :mjlol:

He's interesting enough to me as a work in progress though.

Nah.

He's a competent rapper from what I can tell but from a snapshot he seems to have similar problems with a way less interesting approach.

But to be fair I haven't heard his album to give a good analysis thought and I probably won't.

Hes nice but goddamn the biting , this sounds like the 3005 beat with Sean's voice and Gambino flow

Exactly!

And City of Stars I thought was a Kanye track with Drake on it for a minute...

I always said if Logic found his own sound he would be great but til then, ehhhhh
