Right, like I said a developing artists is probably going to sound a lot like the people he listens to, but you're supposed to burn through those influences until you find who YOU are. It feels like he's still going through that process while being presented as a somewhat finished project and it's just like ...

:patrice:

The draw back of developing like that is being rewarded for it giving you the incentive to keep it on that same level. He's got the talent but it's gonna take some more things that differentiate him from his contemporaries besides the fact that he looks like you could beat him up. :mjlol:

He's interesting enough to me as a work in progress though.

Nah breh, he's been "developing" for 3 albums...if he ain't found his own sound by now it's not gonna happen

Haven't really listened to him like that outside of a few times he's come on Spotify or some shyt but I know what he sounds like. Whenever I'm out or in the car with someone else & they play the radio and hear someone that I can't identify but sounds like gambino, drake, and J.Cole at the same time,I just assume it's Logic:kobeshrug:

I don't know how he got a fanbase but he does

His voice mad annoying and he's the definition of a swagger jacker

He's not nice he just raps fast and uses a lot of words but he ain't saying anything

But sadly he's here to stay

Through Call Of Duty YouTubers like Nadeshot

Most of his fanbase is made up of nerdy white kids, mixed kids & self hating black nerds under 23 who know nothing about hip hop besides Kanye, Eminem, 50 cent and trap music

These big COD youtubers from Faze & Optic and pro players started hyping him up back in 2010 during Black Ops 1 making him out to be the second coming of Christ in hip hop. They promote the fukk out of him on twitter and YouTube and as their followers grew so did logics

Nadeshot Dude has close to 2 mil followers & logic gets shouted out by other big youtubers with hundreds of thousands And over a million followers and subscribers on YouTube, Faze's channel has over 4mil subscribes and mad videos that feature Logics music :francis:

he has talent..no doubt, but he sounds like one of the most generic guys ever. It's hard to listen to him because of that.

That's what I mean, it's gonna be harder for him to do that because he's already being rewarded. He's selling a respectable amount of albums where as somebody like Game couldn't reap the benefits of his development until he found some semblance of a voice of his own. At this point what's the incentive to change? If Em hadn't got shyt on for being a Nas/AZ clone he might not have been pushed to bring more of himself out of in his music.
