listening to loud music & going slightly paranoid appreciation

So I'm listening to Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's "Lost in Emotion" for like the 30th time today. everytime this chorus kicks in, I'm starting to get paranoid that someone might be at the door or something.

But this cat here laying in the ground would have made a stir if that was the case, I guess.

I used to blast music in my headphones and swore I heard something. I remember one day hearing something fall through my headphones, I'm walking around the house calmly, when I get near the door I hear a voice. It was just my best friend, but that bish scared me straight. I keep my music at a moderate level now.
