Funny you should mention this album. I remember when Rap City played Lovin It one time and then never again.

I was just listening to the album its crazy how well the Listening and the Minstrel show have aged. They are timeless albums.

I agree with you on The Listening, but the way production on The Mistrel Show sounds dated as hell to me now. 9th’s stuff just got kinda stiff around that time imo.

Started listening to LB last year and was amazed that I never heard any of their music before, especially going through my "hip-hop" phase 08-11.
First album where I didn't feel the urge to skip songs. The Listening was the same way. Just a solid azz group.

@TheDarceKnight was there an alternative version to this album? I always heard that there was an original one that Atlantic wouldn't put out so they had to redo it and came out with this version. I'm surprised they didnt make them change the title.
