My little sisters were like this as kids I've always hated seeing all of the pink in girl sections. I remember my parents made a conscious effort to buy my sisters things that were purple or red or yellow...they would intentionally try not to buy princess or pink themed toys.

The problem you are talking about is not even the problem in the OP. The problem is toy companies conforming to stereotypes. Videos lead to discussions. To end the stereotypes don't just change the colors and make all toys in all colors but make all the toys equally as good.
