This. When will these guys realise live action is the complete anti-thesis of what makes anime greatApart from the Bleach Live action movie which was
every single other one has been complete
I was about to bring up Edge of Tomorrow, but I just looked it up and that WASN'T an anime adaptation. I always thought it was.

I don't hate this idea because Cowboy Bebop is still one of the most westernized animes ever made so it can work in live action. The involvement of Chris Yost doesn't really matter to me because in the end the director for this and the cast are who will have to make this tick.
Edge of Tomorrow was based on a manga but they changed a lot of the plot.

Although from what I've seen the dub is pretty good, it should be subs all day every day.

Edge of tomorrow was adapted from a Japanese Manga comic called all you need is kill. I'd still consider it an anime adaptation but that may just be semantics.

Also once you watch the show check out the cowboy bebop movie, it's equally as good. One of my favorite movie intros (no spoilers)
