Crazy how i always get hyped for video game movies. But now that i think of it, has the ever been a truly great one?

Warcraft is the most successful movie based on a video game ever made. and i think angry birds has the highest reviews.
Crazy to think video game movies peaked in 1995 with Mortal Kombat.
This seems to have more potential to be taken seriously as a dramatic film though
