Since 'Gone Baby Gone', I've really liked, and admired Affleck's work as a director, and actor, I think this has the potential to be really good....though, I am a little weary of 1920's era gangster movies, there were some beautiful shots in that trailer. Affleck hasn't missed much in recent years, 'The Accountant' looks to be a favorite of mine, this year too.

Well, as a director he never had a resurgence because he's always been a strong craftsman in that department.

I still think he's being overrated as an actor, the man can carry a movie but I don't ever see him make a movie with his performance.
