Gonna be 24 soon.

Since my freshman year I've lived in apartments near campus, it was cheaper.

But because of working full time, I couldn't really mingle on campus or meet many people since I couldn't join anything due to work.

I then moved back home after some family hardships, commuted about 45 to an hr a day to class and then back. Took a few years off college cuz it was hard to keep up.

Now I'm back at college but thinking bout transferring to finish my last year.

If I'm at a new school, or I stay at the one I'm at, should I look into staying in a dorm? Or will I regret doing so being that I'm too old to be surrounded by freshman and not have my own space.

I started college when I was 20 and I graduated when I was 25 and I lived in a dorm; ain't shyt wrong with that. Truthfully you should forget about the freshman shyt and look at what is cheaper in the near future. I had freshman roomates and I ran shyt in the dorm and called the shots; and plus since I was older I put them on game about bytches and hustling. I just told them; don't wake me up when I sleep over some bullshyt. If it's cheaper to live off campus do it; also if your able to live off campus and still make class and do good in class, do it. As far as mingling shyt; that shyt is for the birds. If mingling; you mean fukking bytches, it's better to live off campus because people will not be in your business and hoes are more willing to come back to your place when your off. Hoes wanna be hoes; when you can't see them.

I wished I stayed off campus I would have save more money; I also worked and went to school so I understand where your at. I had a type of crazy roomates.

Yeah man, off campus living was straight but it became boring. since I took time off, even though I had my own apartment.Since I was spending a lot of time at work, I didn't get to pull college females from campus like that. I pulled quite a few regular working chicks, and some college ones but it just wasnt the same. I was hoping moving on campus would give me that college experience of just running round all day. Meeting new people, prolly help me find an organizaiton to pledge to.

The thing about apartments I didn't like is that people just go inside and stay inside and my roommates have always been mad boring. I did love having my own space tho and beign able to produce music when I felt like it.

Yeah I feel you. You can try it in the fall, because that's when the new freshman females roll in and you really can see the campus life; but you can try the spring semester and pledge in the spring and experience the full female groupie experience in the fall. I was going to pledge; but lack of funds and time. But your age does not matter; people did not know I was 4 years older than them until I said something.

I was pushed to do that mingling stuff during my freshmen year, but I was way too busy with working full time and going to school full time. I'm a sociable person so I do not have a problem making friends. Too many people in college are more worried about impressing others and etc. My motto has always been do whatever works best for your wallet. I'm transferring and have to live off campus because that on campus housing is too damn expensive.

Bruh no one on this board is paying your tuition or taking your classes for you. If something is easier/makes sense economically for you, do it.

My sophmore year, i had like 6 grad students on my floor. I dont think anyone ever really thought anything less of em, and they were cool guys.

I mean its college everyone is basically in the same boat any how.
