why would ANYONE want to stay in the dorm. sharing a bathroom, no kitchen, little ass room. and perhaps an a$$hole for a roommate.

I was pushed to do that mingling stuff during my freshmen year, but I was way too busy with working full time and going to school full time. I'm a sociable person so I do not have a problem making friends. Too many people in college are more worried about impressing others and etc. My motto has always been do whatever works best for your wallet. I'm transferring and have to live off campus because that on campus housing is too damn expensive.
you probably never heard of it but a local university in Louisiana
. Hit that shower before you come to the club; that shyt ain't coo. What school fam Tech, ULM, Centenary?I went to school in dat boot; I was at the top, that country I-20 shyt. The clubs were old storage warehouses with no air conditioning; good time, but some catz were musty when then started jigging. Hit that shower before you come to the club; that shyt ain't coo.

Living in an apartment is usually cheaper. I lived in the dorms for my first four years in college, i.e. all years.Gonna be 24 soon.
Since my freshman year I've lived in apartments near campus, it was cheaper
But because of working full time, I couldn't really mingle on campus or meet many people since I couldn't join anything due to work.
I then moved back home after some family hardships, commuted about 45 to an hr a day to class and then back. Took a few years off college cuz it was hard to keep up.
Now I'm back at college but thinking bout transferring to finish my last year.
If I'm at a new school, or I stay at the one I'm at, should I look into staying in a dorm? Or will I regret doing so being that I'm too old to be surrounded by freshman and not have my own space.
But anyway, once in a while, there would be an older person, like 26 who lived in the dorms.
