Ann arbor gets the midwest check and balance that seattle doesnt....and the minimum wage thing is specifically in seatac wa which is just the AIRPORT...so cost of travel for me has just gone up

Right but...people are trying to keep the cost of living inline with inflation. It's easy to say get another job, but we both know that's not easy.


And the midwest check and balance has done nothing as people (like you) living in states with jobs like WA, TX, GA, AZ or moving to the Chicago area.
