Well what I mean is they dont get discussed in the Best Mcs of all time like Biggie, Pac, Nas, Jay do and I would argue they should be just as much in the mix as all 4
LL will always be one of the top mcs to ever do this. Dude's flow is like water, and this talk about love songs, dude is still flipping lyrics in them joints. LL never comes weak on a tune, no matter if it's a love joint or hardcore joint.
I understand what you mean......some people said that he was only relevant because he was eye candy pause for the ladies, don't take him serious as a MCs which is silly but he's doing too much for the ladies that threw people off. People always talk about Ja Rule, and 50 Cent, Faboulous, Drake, Nelly, Diddy, etc.singing about female but it was LL Cool J giving them birth to do this
He had good longevity. You can make an argument because he bascially put Def Jam on the map, along with the Beastie Boys.....but he paved the way for mainstream rappers of today so mostly of rappers took his blueprint for it......This could alone makes him top 10 all-time.
