He didnt call Kenny a "role player"...he said that Kenny wouldnt have had an NBA career at all had he not played with a superstar. It was a provably false statement. Kenny put up numbers on sorry kings squads before landing in houston. Chuck was being mad extra with it, and he was way outta line.
Kenny is pretty open about the fact that he rode the dream to 'ships, but he had every right to get salty because chuck was blatantly disrespecting him. This cat was a UNC baller, a lottery pick, damn near a 20 pt per game scorer one year, and played a pivotal role on those rocket teams. The Jet was no scrub.

charles uses hyperbole all the time, we knew what he meant. he didn't call kenny a scrub, he just pointed out that he would;ve faded into oblivion if he didnt play next to hakeem.
