cant renegotiate till after 3rd year

these dudes were a idiot for signing that cba

I'm pretty sure Brady was in this same position, second year, won the Super Bowl, except he was drafted in the sixth, so he made less than 660k (although if you adjust for inflation it may be much closer).

The Pat's restructured that year, after shipping Bledsoe out (to your shytty ass squad :umad:) and gave Brady a respectable salary for a Super Bowl winning starting QB....but now, thanks to that terrible CBA, the Seahawks can't do right by Russ...priceless :heh:

havent tom brady took pay cuts for the team

Tom Brady took a pay cuts as a 36 year who has already made $100 mil plus AND who has a wife who makes even more money than him. His situation is not comparable to most players. Beyond that, just because Mr. Brady took a paycut doesn't mean that every player should. The NFL is the dirtiest game of all and you have to get what you can get while you can get it becuase it can all be over in just one play. The fact that the salary cap is pretty much frozen right now is a joke. NFL cap should be $200 mil at the lowest.

young good players in baseball now are being signed to long term deals with a good bit of millions but not no great big amount. so they wont be seeing huge millions to late either

I mean to me the big picture is career longevity.
