Um, no. I think teams would probably prefer to Lakers to Golden State. As a Spurs fan, I definitely would. No one fears the Lakers. That win against OKC was their only impressive win the whole season. The top teams would all rather play Utah, Houston, Golden State or Portland than the Lakers.
This isn't even debatable.
Yeah, they've been kinda shyt all year....but any team with their roster is still as dangerous as you're going to find in a 7/8 seed.

the spurs/thunder would be twice as big of favorites vs the warriors rockets/jazz as they would be over the lakers in a 7 game series.the spurs/thunder would be twice as big of favorites vs the warriors rockets/jazz as they would be over the lakers in a 7 game series.
and Kobe or bust. Plus Pop would hack-a-Howard all day. And they can't force up tempo like GS. They would be forced to defend the Spurs in halfcourt and their poor rotations would get picked apart.Yeah that's cuz they started the season like 1-10 when everyone was healthy and the coach got fired. They have been losing no matter whose on the court or on the benchNash missed 20+ games.
Gasol missing 20+ games.
Dwight missed like 10 games.
What other team had 3 of their top 4 players miss as much time? Lakers have every right to use that excuse, and still fans rarely bring that up as much as we just admit Dwight has been a shell of himself, etc.

Okay, so you don't know what you're talking about because everyone wasn't healthy the first 11 games.
Nash got hurt 16 minutes into our second game and didn't play again to nearly Christmas. Four games later Steve Blake went out.
Then, as far as losing, no one had a better record than the Lakers last month besides the Heat and Spurs.
Realistically speaking, none of those teams are beating the Spurs or the Thunder but Golden State would give them more headaches than the Lakers. I think the Spurs would sweep the Lakers...4-1 at best.
Golden State is a young, fearless fast-paced team and Stephon Curry can get in a zone and shoot the lights out like Reggie Miller. Jarrett Jack can takeover a game too if he gets hot. I saw him do it against the Spurs a couple of weeks ago. And David Lee is a 20-10 guy who can go toe-to-toe with Duncan plus Klay Thompson.
The Lakers are old,and Kobe or bust. Plus Pop would hack-a-Howard all day. And they can't force up tempo like GS. They would be forced to defend the Spurs in halfcourt and their poor rotations would get picked apart.
Pacers(9-2 and Grizzlies also had better record for the month of February.
