Ok, I'll play.
Lets say he's faking it.
Why, what would he gain?
And please try to be sensible
He doesn't have anything to gain.
If he is faking, he is faking for the same reason that people who deem themselves rich and powerful and great and important and are idolized by fans fake things...because they can...because they know no one will say anything about it...
You think if Lebron is faking an injury that David Blatt could do anything? You think David Blatt, a rookie head coach, could call out Lebron James for faking an injury? Come on...he would get killed in the media...Lebron is a two time champ...4 time MVP...came back to Cleveland out of the kindness of his heart when he could have lived happily ever after in sunny Miami...ESPN would have an entire 60 minute special about how David Blatt "doesn't understand how it works in the NBA"
Maybe Bron just didn't want to play...maybe his knee really is hurt...maybe he is just tired but he doesn't want to seem human so instead of the Tim Duncan "out(rest)" it's Lebron James "out(knee)"
I mean look at Aaron Rodgers...this dude fukking collapse Sunday like he had been shot and had to be DRIVEN off the field...
Then not even 30 minutes later he is standing in the tunnel moving side to side...
Does that seem logical to you? Does it seem logical that a guy can go from collapsing and being carted off to standing in a tunnel and coming back out to play a game as physically taxing as football?
People do shyt just to do it
