What does it mean when you get this color rep?

edit: I guess it means the person that repped me had no rep themselves?

edit: Im trying to figure out the math. So the more rep points you have the more weight your reps have? (I never paid attention to this but now Im all red )

If the person repping you gives you a grey rep it means that they themselves are either red or that they're green but below 50 posts.
