I figure it's hard enough to be a refugee, it's inhuman to turn them away imo.

My mom is orthodox Christian, she was having trouble recently leaving for Easter. She wears the shawl similar to the Muslim head scarf.

I stayed in North Africa for a time, hence building knowledge. Also dated a nice Muslim fella for a bit too so I considered converting.

:ohhh:

When you first began posting I thought your mother was Muslim. Your familiarity with Muslim concepts + Ethiopian mother. I assumed she was an Ethiopian Muslim.

When you say North Africa...I presume Morocco?

No, my mom is Orthodox. Her mother was Afar Muslim though from Eritrea. I wasn't in Morocco too much, spent a lot of time in Egypt as I was attempting to learn Arabic.

That is all anecdotal. Hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees are pouring into Europe and the article is talking about several who had university educations and a pair of brothers who worked for an investment bank. It says that Syrian refugees are more likely to be educated than refugees from other countries like Eritrea.......which isn't exactly a huge accomplishment.

I am sorry but the idea that thousands of Bill Gates and Paul Allens are among the Syrian refugees is just hard to believe.

White supremacist BS here
