Right out of his mouth, video proof:

Ball would rather be a Laker than No. 1 pick

Does this dude's draft spot tank?

Judging by how his pops threw his teammates under the bus, I don't want dude to be saying shyt about players like Ingram on the Lakeshow. The franchise been through enough BS the last few years, don't need a player's pops all over the media to add to the meltdown.

:yeshrug: So if someone else scoops him up then LA will have to come up off one of their up and comers, D'Angelo, Julius, Brandon, Larry Nance Jr.

My Pops Forever RIP
No problem with him saying this based off his explanation.

Lonzo seems more open to the idea of the draft than his father is though. Lavar might throw his hat on the ground in frustration on lotto night if a team he doesn't want goes #1

Bet money Lavar will try to get in the room for the lotto drawing

We losing our pick tho
Maybe if it was the Bucks or some small market team like that, but Los Angeles Lakers losing a top 3 pick? No way. The league needs Lakers to be good again. There are many examples, Patrick Ewing didn't go to the Knicks by accident, ask the old heads about it. NBA is a business after all...
