It’s on HBOmax so i expect them to be a little more free than adult swim. It’s clear they are going for an “into the spiderverse” look with this but it comes off as try hard. I loved the original champloo style the original had. It was like the perfect blend between anime and comedy.
Also John Witherspoon obviously ain’t gonna be in this so it’s kind of a wrap

Yeah, its being made by sony. I know a few people that worked on/working on the show.
Dude who did these paint overs does viz dev for games and shows. and these dont look like the art i've seen for the show, even tho shyt does change and i aint asked about this shyt in a minute. I'ma ask the homie and see if he knows. and dude deleted these off of his website. according to him, this was only for a pitch
