This is why I said you're misinterpreting what I said. I'm fully aware that Bulls fans had belief/confidence in their team beating the Cavs.

Reasons why Chicago lost this series - LeBron is well down the list (who had his worst series since Boston 2010). Momentum swung back in the Cavs favor ahead of Game 4, when the Bulls didn't have any frontcourt scoring after Gasol went down injured in Game 3.
Game 4: Noah 8 points, Gibson 6 points
Game 5: Noah 10 points, Gibson 10 points
Game 6: Noah 4 points, Gibson 2 points
You add in Rose's inconsistent play, failure to build offensive momentum in all the remaining games, lack of bench production, shytty team defense and passive play from everybody not named Butler - most of which you can attribute to the dwindling rapport between Thibs and the team.
All of that still doesn't negate what I said. Yes the Cavs were up against it, yet still LeBron wasn't the #1 reason why the Bulls lost. I don't think you can particularly pinpoint what the exact reason was, however it was more of a case of the Bulls failing to play up to their abilities than it was because of LeBron. Sure he played with relentless effort on the offensive side (while take plays off on defense), but he was inefficient to the point that it kept the Bulls in games.Breh, Love was out and Kyrie was crippled for most of the series. If the Bulls beat the Cavs, no one would be giving Lebron any slack for having no love or an injured Kyrie so having an ex-DPOTY, an ex coach of the year, an ex MVP, and a HOF PF going against a bunch of guys who don't even know what the playoffs look like. Mozgov? Tristan Thompson? JR Smith? Delladova? Kyrie?
It was Lebron James and help vs the Bulls and none of the Bulls, sans maybe Butler, thinks they can beat Lebron.
