Cal lets these top players know whats up...he knows they are top talents and will probably go to the NBA after the first year and sells them on that fact. He has a proven track record with young talent and now has a Championship @ UK of all places.

Again, I think he just adapted to the game quicker than anyone else.

Look at the memphis players listed...most of them are after that rule change in 2003. He basically rolled with the NBA rule and said bet, how am I going to take advantage of this situation?

He ate off that 1 year rule and is now at UK...that is a deadly combo for that guy. He is basically going to have stacked squads until he leaves.

And if he wins another title @ UK? Dude is going to be a GOD in Lexington and might get to a point in where he is just going to say "I want you on my team" and might get the top ranked class just with that.

And it's not like they were bustling with NBA talent

And he didn't get highly rated out of HS talent to play for UMass.

Calipari is a great recruiter and underrated coach, and I am not a UK fan.
