lol, I just mentioned it earlier. Also the things they do is they bring in these h1b1 visa guys, have the establish engineer train them(its hard as hell to train someone over the phone due to the accent barrier) and then when they go back, they train another group of Indian which effectively moves it overseas.

I work with older white people, they are very pissed to see the way the way corporations treat them now. Even those with the "how about they move, how about they get a better job, I pulled myself by my bootstrap" are starting to see how unfair these companies are. They are slowly starting to side with low wage workers because they see how these companies are thinning upper management.

American engineers are a damn joke unless you want to go into gun manufacturing or IT. The public education system is a reflection of that. Ironically these same h1b1 visa guys would graduate in the top 10% of American universities had given the opportunity which is why Asian Americans are the highest earners. They produce good results and have a great work ethic and are cheaper. Blame your government for their Draconian tax laws which makes corporations off-shore and import cheaper workers instead of doing business at home.

Pretty often, I'm an Econ major and do analyses and scenarios all the time.
Architects, Bankers, Engineers, Mathematicians, Computer Programmers, Statisticians, and about 100 other professions use advanced math on a daily basis.
no they don't

We are sorely misrepresented in law, especially international business law, where the money is (Africans are seeing the need to study this to biggup to them). Being misrepresented in law keeps us out of controlling local and national public policy.
But most black pre-law students want to fukk around for 4 years doing Coke w/ the White kids, and when it comes time to apply to law school, they end up only getting into Cooley, Thomas Jefferson, and Baylor.
And those schools aren't exactly churning out students who can really do anything.

Yeah sounds familiar. My friends who studied law in undergrad stopped with a BA. Too lazy to study for the LSATs Some earned their MPA worked their way into administrative positions in local government where they do nothing and collect nice salaries and state pension with perks like state-sponsored vehicles, dslr cameras, trips and cell phones. And these are the ones who "aimed high". International law programs like Central European University in Budapest are alternatives. As long as we can get mofos to pass the MBE and maneuver into local, state and national government as these white boys do.

Aside: Went to their 2015 commencement to support my naija and abesha friends. They acknowledged the Charleston murders, Ukranian revloution et. al. The rector ended the commencement with "Go out and save the world"

You just realizing that now breh?

Unless you're a doctor/lawyer/in business or finance, college is pointless outside of the social skills you build. And even then, there are TONS of kids in college who refuse to be social.

shyt, you don't even need college to learn how to be a good teacher.

The fukked up part about it is, instead of taking out a loan for college, most people could've used that money to start a business. Sad.

You have a greater chance of getting big government loans BUT want something as little as a 2K Startup Loan would get denied pretty easily.

those shyts r rackets too

All colleges are to a certain extent. The key is to attend one that gives you the most for the least amount of money. Leaving with knowledge of self is worth the lower cost of public HBCUs.
