Truthfully, just wearing a chain in the D wasn't his mistake. It was more his cocky ass attitude that got him chin checked and his shyt yanked off his neck.

And that's usually the case with any of these industry folks who've gone into Detroit and got served. Like a lot of cities, if you go in humble and respectful, you'll be fine in Detroit. But if you walk in like you own the place, well, that won't get taken kindly. People in Detroit are literally starving, and they've been in a recession for damn near 25 years. If you give them an excuse to view you as food, they will do so gladly.

I imagine the same goes for a lot of those midwest cities (KC, STL, etc) that I've heard you do not want to mess around in.
