Right, that scene was white asf. I grew up in a house where none of us lived with our dad or knew him. Me, my brother, my moms, my aunt and her kids none of us knew our dads or lived with them. My dad was in prison since i was like 3. my neighbors and kids the same thing. I never seen no one break down and start crying cuz their "dad dont want them" most ppl dont give a fuccc.

Will obviously wanted very badly to have his pops in his life then and for many many years before. It's actually kind of scary that folks would take such a simplistic view to this or to think that a father not being around is somehow this small deal and that Will overreacted. Speaks volumes loudly and sadly. I think people's reaction to that scene is a great litmus test to where their head is at.

Will's years and years worth of frustration exploded in that scene. You guys can say that you knew people who you perceived didn't care about their fathers not being around but I bet their behavior and attitudes told a different tune.
