Yeah, he was working on an album and had the song done.

But then Mel-Man played it one day in the studio and Dre heard it and asked Finesse if he could have it. So Mel-Man reached out to Finesse and brought him in with Dre. Finesse had Syleena Johnson on the OG. Doing the hook. Dre took her off and threw Mary on the hook for his, lol.
