San Diego has better beaches, LA has more diversity but both cities are mostly Mexican, and weather is better in SD

The biggest reasons for me preferring LA would be my career choices, family and friends.

LA has better looking women TO ME.

Still though you can't lose with either.

Edit: I also love how spread out LA is.

I don't know about diversity though, City Heights in San Diego is one of the most diverse places on the planet. As a whole though I think Los Angeles is more diverse, but spread out.
