Not only can he sing but he can dance better than most. Usher is the truest R&B performer we got. Dude has had a hit damn near every other summer for 20 years.

'8701' turned his career around in 2001 with 3 or 4 top 10 hits. 'My Way' was in 97 and had a few hits but to the average white they'd be "deep cuts". Every other summer since 2001 he's basically had a summer jam. Consistency > everything else.
