Before that Apatow was constantly citing Allen as one of his idols, praising his movies on twitter, talking about how he wanted to work with him. He tried to brush off the difference in response to Cosby and Allen as being about the sheer number of people that Cosby had abused, as if the allegations against Allen haven't been around for decades.
