Campaign donations he's a grassroots candidate. Was just watching an interview he talks about running for a Louisiana Senate seat last year he raised 500k total while the state Dem Party Candidates raised millions and he still was only behind by like 15000 votes

He ran as a dem because we have a two party system in America. He's an outsider not a career poltiician and probably won't even be supported in this race by the state/national dem party. He's not a reparations candidate but he's antagonist against white supremacy and he's fighting to repeal drug laws that adversely impacts black men.
Black people cant afford to not vote at all down ballot and anyone advocating for that is an idiot and I'm staunchly for reparations.
