I have love for everyone meaning that I will give care and help/advice if needed or requested, but I don't forget.

For example, if I find out you're a liar, I'll make sure to not to trust what you say. If I find out that you steal, I'll be sure not to trust you around my things, etc.

I don't hold grudges, I just treat people accordingly.

When I first heard this line on fif's track I was still in my teens and didn't really get its significance and wisdom until the years passed, and I watched nikkas I thought I know switch up on me. Do most of y'all live by this principle?
You're not very bright are you?

No offense, but for a religion that imposes death sentence on those who renounce it, I find it quite ironic that it would preach how one should be keeping their emotions in check. :mjlol:

You know the Quran didn't just drop from the sky. It was revealed over 23 years. This was direct to Muhammad (pbuh) in that context and over that period when they were evicted from their homes, when they weren't allowed to fight, when they were at war etc and when they were fighting "renouncing" meant deflecting at battle.

I am not qualified to have a discussion on the topic though so if you are curious check out this website: http://www.islamtomorrow.com/

I know what you are referring to, the medina vs mecca verses, I studied islam at univ, and recall the different surahs used for different periods of Mohammed rule.
