  • Flawless beat, incredibly unique and hard asf
  • Lyrically insane. Content was dope, good braggadicio and style rhymes.
  • Truly declared himself KONY
  • It was a fire diss and I and many didn't even realize until 2002 when Nas mentioned it
  • The doubles and triples, AND multis, I rarely mention nerd shyt like that but Jesus, this was just the Pinnacle of rhyme scheme shyt for real.
  • Maybe his best flow ever

Its a FLAWLESS track, big's pinnacle FOR SURE. No other song of his has everything.

Lyrically I'm WORSHIPED :lawd:

Just might be. I've never been a Biggie stan to that level but Kick In The Door might be the track that had me most :scust:

IMO that track doesn't get the love it deserves when people are talkin Biggie. Extremely disrespectful track :scust:
People always mention warning and everyday struggle and whatnot...but Kick in the doors flow destroys almost anything he's ever done...it's low key a GOAT premo beat, and it's pretty flawless.

Exactly... and I love Everyday Struggle and Warning... but c'mon man Kick In The Door was just an A++ track. Don't quote me... but that's probably DJ Premier's last hurrah in terms of popularity for a track. Those times I was Wu-Tang and Nas stanning so everytime I heard biggie, Ghostface said to me "nikkas bit off of Nas shyt".... when I heard Kick In The Door I was like :hubie: "ok biggie I see you"

I agree 100%.

Not to downplay anyone elses death at all, but biggies premature death is the biggest tragedy in hiphop. Truly the best rapper of all time, and thats not off any post-death hype, thats just straight up facts.

He wouldve given us so much more classic art for the culture, and I can picture him on alllllll types of beats. This why ppl like funk flex get so emotional over it, we know what we missed out on.

Kick in the door, especially including the mad rapper skit, was a STATEMENT.
