the dirty kid who had started living and getting high with the arabs was telling Michael about the time they had gotten into a fight a few years before after they threw urine filled ballons at the dudes they were fighting and Michael couldnt remember it at all.

That scene is real as shyt.

The other day I was talking to a younger family member and I brought up a story about something I felt was very memorable that they were involved in and they couldnt remember. It put it in perspective to me how much she has been through and is currently going through. Like What Im going through and have been through would probably be considered a lot to most of you all on here but it's normal to me so i dont geek over it. But the things she was telling me about what she's going through and shes been through had me like mentally saying "dam yo, i aint going through nothing compared to her" but this is her normal.

When she couldnt remember the story it immediatly reminded me of that scene from the Wire and how real it was.

What that scene did was put in perspective how our experiences change our view on the world. You see, Michael couldnt remember that story anymore because he had been through so much since then that story was like ancient history to him.....even though it was only a few years before.

Cosign the OP, that was one of the scenes that jumped out at me too. But I aint feel bad when Wallace died. It was just sad his friends hatd to do it but the niigga Wallace was snitching. Now that I think about it, it is kinda sad because I dont think Wallace knew what he was getting into so him snitching was something that he probably never thought of before he witnessed Brandon laying on that car.

Fuuck the police.
