From the nation of domination thread, a question I asked @Jackson LeRoy Briggs

Are you disatisfied with Kofi Kingston's place in WWE? Multiple time midcard champion? On the roster for 8 years or so? Constantly over with the fans and getting paid for it the whole time? Made it to a main event program with randy orton? Constantly puts on great moments that will last forever in royal rumbles TLCs and ECs? Been with multiple tag partners and been tag champ repeatedly? Fans love him and he gets ovations when his music hits...is that not enough?

Do you TRULY believe he should be heavyweight champion or higher than he is?

I mean be honest. He is never on deavors watch...ever. He is fairly reliable in the ring. He is on EVERY SINGLE RAW and the majority of SD/main events. He is a workhorse.

In wrestling history he is a lifer babyface on some ricky steamboat/morton stuff that is rare to find...and heels get over big time when they face him. That is really valuable, and he has had an outstanding career to date.

So i ask again...do you REALLY beleive he should be wwe heavyweight champion or TRUE main event status [and keep in mind, if HE is in the main event, someone else isn't]

He should have been involved in more high profile programs thats all.

If I was a Wrestler or a fan of his stature I wouldn't want to spend every Wrestlemania being a spot monkey in a ladder match or cheap Battle Royal.

It sucks because I was a big fan but he's had a better career than Shelton.

if you got years and years of wrestlemania and royal rumble checks plus videogame and royalty checks for almost a decade would you complain? Plus spend your time in your career being beloved by the target market?

I think he's exactly where he needs to be and even if he never moves up on the card for the rest of his career he would still be considered a success.

I would just love for one of these days for him to actually WIN one of these battle royals.

The only thing I think they should do with him that they aren't doing is occasionally place him in main events/give him a title shot on Raw, let him rub shoulders with the top guys, just as a way to shake off the JTTS stench from time to time.

i could care less about the pops. its like working for the same company for 10 years and never getting a promotion. nobody wants that. all kofi is really known for is being the king of battle royals. yet HE'S NEVER WON ONE.

Kofi has had a great career thus far, I mean I don't think anyone expected him to be world champ but he's really only 2 strong feuds away from a main event push IMO. The problem is the WWE is so top heavy, for a Kofi push, you'd have to depush someone at the top and I don't know who in the ME scene I'd take out to put Kofi in, it wouldn't be Cena, Orton, DBry, Reigns or Bray and guys like Jericho and Kane are immune to depushes...

Uncertain grounds
He hasnt been a disappointment at all, but I am still slightly dissatisfied with his career. Has very little to do with him as opposed to how he hasnt been used in the best of ways. He is very consistent, a good/great babyface (especially with the kids), good/great ambassador and PR guy, and is good in the ring with potential for great spots. I hesitate to say necessarily that he has been outright misused either, but I think he has a bit more potential than what he has been largely afforded the chance to show. He's had some chances here and there, but I dont think booking really know how to transition him from his cemented role and front offices didnt want to risk what was already working fairly well. At the same time, Im also not sure if he has shown that he could pull an elevation or a turn into more success either, but that could be argued endlessly.

He's in the same vein as mysterio in terms of young fans and being a face..but we will see what happens with this upcoming story line. In any event, he has still had a very good career IMO.

Of course I'm not satisfied with his career, he got one shot at the big time and never had another opportunity. I'll never forget that night he hit the Boom Drop on Orton in MSG through the table, the pop he got was unreal. And then a couple of months later he was back to square one, and never given another opportunity. The way he's been treated throughout his run is disgraceful.

The guy made one mistake and has had glass ceiling on his career for five years, while other guys have done much stupider things repeatedly and been given chance after chance to breakthrough. I don't care what anybody says that's not right.

He, along with Big E and Xavier, is in sink-or-swim territory if this Nation 2.0 stable actually happens. If it fails, it's unlikely WWE will ever push him again.

that was a great rivalry and raw / moment. Dude was over as shyt and Orton played a big part in that. Of course he gets no credit but thats neither here nor there.
