This stretch of tapes right here is crazy. jacka did the introspective, grimy street shyt real well over some production that straight knocks. that mobb sound never caught on much outside of the bay, but I got a feeling jacka is going to get recognition when the masses catch up.

I can kinda see why people wold think that, but he got his own unique laid back flow and cadence that sounds more confident than boring imo.

tear gas was damn near a classic.

yeah tear gas was hella dope, but it had its weak tracks, which holds it back for me. he tried to crossover into the mainstream a bit on that one, but it's full of slaps.

MF DOOM is the most overlooked rapper of all time. & I'll say that shyt til I turn blue

who doesn't know about mf doom though? can you really be overlooked when you're essentially touted as being one of the best underground rappers?

when I mention MF DOOM in my hood nikkas look at me like I'm crazy. The ether of knowing that so much people will die never hearing his work will burn my soul for eternity
