I get what you're saying, but he didn't mean it literally. He did say "modern day plantation", keyword being modern. The average black man in the U.S. works in a subordinate position for a cac boss. Slaving away for low wages for white men. It's not actual slavery, but it's emasculating. And frustrating

A few years ago, i took a men's/masculinities sociology class, hegemony is the legitimation of a dominate group's ideology. The dominant group in this country are heterosexual white males. They superimpose their ideology onto the rest of us through different institutions.

Black men are a part of a marginalized group and have what is called a marginalized masculinity. Black men have been in bondage due to slavery and continue to be oppressed. We are systematically denied jobs and opportunities, disenfranchised, and put in prison. When we are employed, we are most likely in a subordinate position. The subordinate position part is likely what OP's referring to, it's like a modern day plantation.

That's why i busted my ass to start my own business, i stacked and bounced, i hate the way we're expected to beg for employment and put up with discrimination from cac bosses and cac employees for chump change

all this shyt is is modern slavery man...basically they have a bunch of blacks and/or Hispanics doing the dirty work and all the managers are white. they're the overseers....I was talking to this goofy nikka that I work with, he look like cousin skeeter, hes cool tho...i mean i wouldn't never hang with the nikka outside of work but he showed me how to work the register when the cacs brushed me off....hes a beast with the register too...anyway, breh said hes been there longer then everybody and had to train the cacs that came way after, and they immediately made them managers....and his understudies became his boss....ain't that about a bytch

Hes goofy and probably don't get white supremacy because he should've expected this...I'm at the point I already expect cacs to cheat, not to promote me, to put a knife in my back.....I'm at the point where when I actually run into an honest white person I get nervous...I don't no where they're coming from...I like my cacs deceitful , I'm more prepared to counter their attack

anyway, I had this job interview at the University of Buffalo this morning....to be a maintenance man...the pay was good for Buffalo and esp for a young black man in Buffalo...27k...I only need about 4 racks to save any...so I figured I would work there for a few months and ditch it...anyway They didn't send me an email with the contact info, they just gave me the address and room #....so I end up getting there a few mins late....and they closed the door...and I knocked on it, and this cac that look like a baseball mit opened it...he was all red n shyt, typical old white man....and he said "you're late, We might talk to u after" in a very authoritative manner.....So I left and said fukk this...im not about to give this cac the satisfaction to look down at me and reject me and chastise me....I'm sure he does that enough to other disenfranchised black men...hes not getting off on me....fukk outta here, i rather die then give him that

So I take a ride downtown to blow off some steam and to kill time before work ....and I see this homeless black man brushing his teeth on the sidewalk, talking to himself, I assume he lost his mind from the hell the system put on black people...poor brother probably couldn't take the pain no more and snapped....while yuppies walking around our newly gentrified downtown....they're building it up, construction is every where, which means...its time for nikkas to go.....

I guess I say this, to tell bros.....just to stay up, keep your eyes open...and always play the game to win....cacs preach tolerance but practice evil....so look pass the smiles and fake cordial small talk bullshyt ...because when u peel back the layers u can see their true nature ....
