I liked the flashes the rooks gave us… they are all projects that absolutely need to work on diffrent things but generally happy with their bright spots (really talking Egor Nolan Ben). I’m not looking foward to the “Pick 17 just put up 30 wtf we could have had him” every” every other day. Generally reserving judgment on them until half way through year 2.

On Cam… I feel for him. Got drafted to a contender, sidelined when we literally wasn’t competing, and yeah he a bucket.

Today’s price ain’t yesterday price tho… and the league as a whole is being more weary of giving out high level money to people who may not be high level. All those guys he got comped to are viewed as bad assets because their contract.

I’d like cam at ~18 a year… 30?!?! Nah.

He wants Tyler Herro money though, 32ms :francis: Killa is nice, but hes not Herro nice :hubie:

He should take his 18 mil a year and K.I.M, he won't get anywhere near what hes asking for this summer.
Malik Monk got a 4 year $78 million deal. Something similar would be good for Cam.

Herro and Monk established themselves as young solid 6th man on winning teams. If they were in Cam’s situation as a starter on a bad team, they probably wouldn’t have gotten those bags.

The problem is that as nice as Cam Thomas is and he is indeed a bucket. While I won't say those guys are a dime a dozen. The Nets feel one of those guys they drafted could be that. So the Nets aren't pressed to pay him crazy money either though I'd prefer he stay.
