IT's been this way for a while and I don't know when it will change. It seems like most of the bigger markets are out West along with the warmer states as well. Plus the West has been luckier in the draft compared to the East.

East is not deeper. 8 teams in the east made the playoffs. Only 1 team had a legit championship shot.. 8 teams in the WEST made the playoffs 4 teams had a legit chance of winning. Well 3 since Clipppers were hurt. GS had to go 7 with 1 championship Conetnder. Cleveland steamrolled the eastern pretenders. Needed 7 and a bit of luck to beat GS.
