I think it really depends on your personality. If you a workaholic with a huge ego that loves attention you will probably love it.

Of course that shyt is awful. Not worth the headache if you're not in it for Public service or to be a puppet.

If you want to be a crooked politician with less work, being a congressman is better. Just become one for a few years, then segue to a network news commentator gig or become a lobbyist afterwards. Easy money.

• No anonymity or spontaneity in your life ever again.
• Media on your back every day
• Could be killed at any time, and you have to put 100% of your trust into people around you
• No matter what you do, people will hate your ass and blame you
• Your kids will grow up basically without you.
• You can never drive a car on your own ever again.
