Depth means nothing in the NBA playoffs (except with the spurs over their 15 year run) since most teams only go 8-10 deep in the playoffs. Coaching and stars mean more. In the late 80s early 90s the cavs were deeper than the bull. Yet every time they met in the playoffs the cavs would lose to the Bulls because they didn't have anyone that was as good as MJ or Pip.
Some clown nikka shyt transpiring in this thread....
People were & are sleeping on the Bulls because they were mostly coasting through the season (especially Rose), with the idea that a title isn't won in the regular season as the Bulls have found out in years past the hard way. What matters most is being healthy for the playoffs, which the Bulls relatively are with their full complement of players for the first time years.
It's funny how Thibs always get shyt for running players into the ground, but he didn't hesitate to sit guys this year, or cancel practices in favor of simply watching film, to allow his players to rest their lingering injuries... He knew what time was as did the players...
Anywho, don't even bother trying to gas us now, every last member of #Bullsgang is a hybrid :coolrozay:.
