LSU leads all colleges with 40 players on NFL rosters

No college football program produces more NFL talent than LSU.

The NFL today released a breakdown of Week One rosters that showed 40 NFL players went to LSU, more than any other college. The Tigers have had at least four players selected in 10 consecutive NFL drafts. Last year’s draft class was among the best that any college has ever sent to the NFL, with Giants receiver Odell Beckham winning the rookie of the year award and LSU teammates Ego Ferguson (Bears), Jeremy Hill (Bengals), Jarvis Landry (Dolphins), Trai Turner (Panthers), Lamin Barrow (Broncos), Zach Mettenberger (Titans), Alfred Blue (Texans) and James Wright (Bengals) all getting drafted as well.

After LSU, Miami comes in second, with 37 players on NFL rosters, followed by USC with 35. Alabama and Georgia each have 34, Florida and Florida State each have 31, Oklahoma has 30, Notre Dame has 29 and Clemson has 28.

Four of the six colleges that have the most players on NFL rosters are from the SEC. None of the Top 10 are from the Big Ten.

It's crazy because LSU mainly recruits instate so they're putting out a lot of talent in Louisiana. I knew they had the most players per state per capita.
Les should have more sec titles at least but his inability to get a competent qb is killing him.

Id like to see the probowl and all pro numbers. Who has the most?

NFL talent resides in the south. Even the ACC talent is Florida born.

Big 10 continues to take Ls.

What's up with this hard on you have with the SEC? The NFL talent comes from the same places it's always come from. Midwest, Cali, Texas, southern states.
