He dropped 3 dope albums in a row, made a gang of hit records, and was actually a highly skilled MC. I know in the South he wasn't as revered as Jeezy or T.I. because he didn't have the street element but his run is very understated.

U Got A Problem still one of my favorite intros ever

I've been thinking about making a thread similar to this for awhile. I'm not really a fan of Ludacris, but as a featuring artist, Luda pretty much always killed it, see 'Stomp' for confirmation. But, he always carried that kind of clownish aspect to his persona, so I don't think he ever really got looked at as a serious MC. He's made a certain amount of good music through the years though.

Never was big into Luda but he had some good shyt without question. Southern Hospitality was the joint back in the day. Was a guest spot assassin too.

It's always weird when people try downplay Luda. Even if you don't personally fukk with his music you gotta admit his career has been phenomenal. And on the music tip he had one hell if a run too. I really don't understand why people be frontin on Luda.

He's Ja Rule if Ja Rule could rhyme. If that makes sense. They're both utterly useless footnotes of the dark ages of sellout radio rap. History is handling them properly.

there's just something about him that doesn't stick to your ribs like that IMO. he's a lot like Eminem where you (used to) isten to his shyt when it first dropped but after a couple of months it all wore off
