Ludacris...multi platinum albums...countless hits...yet nobody gives a damn

Amazing...Luda is NEVER cited as an inspiration nor is any of his albums been heralded as groundbreaking or worthwhile. Then again if we are being honest his punchlines for the most part was extremely lazy but he had an A-1 flow. The reality is he made party fun time music and that went a long way towards masking the fact that his music had no direction

It’s probably cause Luda is an updated Redman, another guy that’s dope but because of his propensity for comedy, he’s not looked at as fondly as other guys in his peer group.

Personally though, Luda’s music just started lacking that punch and general fun factor over time. His first two albums were fantastic. Chicken and Beer was cool. Red Light District was decent at best. Release Therapy was ok. That 08 album was good, but still lacked something. Battle Of The Sexes was fukking trash, and when he OD’d on that garbage punchline flow. He ain’t recovered since, though he did show flashes of “old Luda” on that 2015 album.

They had breh here last year at summer jam. I think the line up was Post Malone,Kid Ink, Migos and Ludacris. Luda was the closer and the best part of the show. Breh got so many hits
