Tip sat back and watched how 50 blow up with the beef, so he decided to follow the same career path after getting dropped from his 1st label.
He went after Luda bc Luda was the big dog reppin' ATL at the time and Tip was envious and wanted that position, so he started hating on Luda and slick dissing, then he said Ludacris name on that Young Buck song and Luda got on that song and spanked Tip azz.....Tip knowing he lost on the song, had his label pull his verse off the official release which was weak AF, but Luda gave him what he had been asking for.....Tip realized luda was too much for him, so he reached out to squash the beef.
Tip still being envious started back slick dissing on "Urban Legend" and other tracks and Luda then hit T.I. with War with God and made T.I. shut up again.
realizing he couldn't beat Luda on wax, Tipper tried to take it to the streets while out in LA and word got back to Suge, and some of the Bloods put hands on TI and had him holed up in his hotel room and wouldn't let him leave (basically held hostage)
T.I. eventually had to pay Big U for protection so he could move around in LA in the future.
