To be fair to Lupe he said there are many MC's better than him which is true, he just said he has no equals in terms of somebody who does what he does exactly like him, which is what he's supposed to think as an MC.

Who would even compare the two? Cole is just a great storyteller, but Lupe is a poet. You can tell. Not just technical skills but in his constant usage of all types of literary techniques.

I've never really been a fan but he's absolutely ahead of most people when it comes to straight lyrical ability.

I know nikkas hate chance here but chance and lupe could make some amazing stuff and he could balance out/reel in Lupe's esoterism
