All right.
So is it your opinion that the Bulls are better off with Noah than Howard? :beli:

Dont get me wrong dude. You will not find a lot of people who love Noah more than I do. I was a big fan of his father growing up and I like im too. (no homo). I'd LOVE to see him in a Heat uniform but we just cant afford him.

But in no way would I ever pick Noah over Dwight Howard. If I'm the Bulls GM and the deal was on the table I give up everyone not named Derrick Rose for Howard and fill in the rest of the roster with spare parts here and there just like Riley did in Miami. Once you have these two core player (Rose and Howard) to anchor your franchise the rest will come.

Like i said before GET YOUR MAIN INGREDIENTS FIRST

We can just disagree breh, I've seen countless Magic/Laker games and I've never been impressed by Howard. There's nothing he does offensively or defensively that makes me put him in the "franchise player" echelon. I know that's not the popular opinion (or the "expert" opinion) but it's the opinion the games I've seen have led me to. Yes, that includes the Finals run.

Noah's is not asked to be a franchise player, and he plays his role very well. I really like the Bulls a lot since that series against the Celtics back in '09 (Knicks fan at heart tho) and imo Howard would mess up the chemistry they have developped. Hardly any post moves, no J, no FT, "trade me/i wanna stay/etc" bs...not worth it imo. Especially coming off his injury since his game is like 99% athleticism.

dumb ass front office going to lose the 1 asset we can flip to push us closer to a true title contender for absolutely nothing :snoop:
he is expendable we got jimmy butler.

this dumb ass front office still trying to position themselves to grab someone in free agency so they going to let deng walk for nothing. problem is they have to let deng walk, amnesty boozer, let kirk walk, trade taj and then dont bring miritoc over in order to get some cap space large enough to grab a good player,.

thing is you have to replace that production we are losing with pts from boozer, deng and taj and the defense we losing from deng taj and kirk. plus the rebounding we losing by losing deng taj and boozer. we have to replace that with maybe 14 mill we can clear up. that is asking a lot.

the best move is to flip deng now for that great player to pair with rose either straight up with assets or in a 3 team scenario, or flip deng for young prospect and assets to make a player on a great player maybe next off season. but flip deng for something. going in thinking we are going to get in the free agency market and make a splash will leave us looking stupid like we looked stupid in 2000, and 2010. then we left filling the roster out with more mediocre talent that rose will have to carry, thibs will have to coach up and we continue to only be good enough to lose in the ecf every damn year. at some point we cant keep covering the bullshyt moves or non moves behind the talent of rose and the coaching of thibs. we need more talent. we keep competing with these mediocre talented, non athletic injury prone roster we will continue to fall short every damn season.

:wow:

Doesn't matter....Your boy Thibs is gonna run the squad into the ground anyway so by the time the playoffs start, yall will be riddled with injuries

What style wouldnt fly in LA? Thibs wins games, period. That will fly anywhere.

Thibs runs his teams in the ground....Practices them way too hard....You'll see.

D-Rose may start venting his frustrations if this season isn't as successful as people anticipate it to be

well damn

I dunno if Bulls gang gonna be mad at this revelation though.. :patrice:

we don't care if he walks cuz he wants to make superstar money and is a 3rd option offensively. however, we'd prefer to trade him this season so we can get a pick or player from another team.

Man some of y'all sounding silly. The Bulls FO might make stupid basketball moves but real life moves nah. They paid bum ass JWill after dude could have had his whole contract terminated. Gave Scottie a gig when he was broke and other former players have said the Bulls have looked out for them too but we listening to Wade who never played for the Bulls a second? Not saying its not messed up what the Bulls do but I'm not going to act like Bulls don't give a fukk about nobody when I've saw examples they have before

not just scottie pippen, but randy brown was broke and selling his rings on ebay, and reinsdorf hired him on for some kinda job, he also got him his rings back.

Of course not but does winning it all have any part of the equation here? Is wasting rose prime years playing a part here?

We clear those guys out and then what? Who are we picking up to at least make us as good as we were with Booz deng and taj? That is a lot of rebounding defense (sans Booz) and points we dropping who we picking up to replace that with the 14 mill we will clear letting all them go?

That is why I think a trade is the way to go. Are you suggesting there is no trade to be made? If the front office gets creative enough they can turn a 2x all star who is known as a defensive glue guy who does a bit of everything on the most minutes in the league and on a expiring contract into something that either helps us now or gets us pieces to make a play in the future. Give any other franchise with some heart and smarts deng and watch what they do with him. It's just us who can't seem to get shyt done

once upon a time, I would say moving deng's deal would be impossible. but after seeing the hawks be able to move JJ's ridiculous deal, all bets are off. Any player should be able to be moved. especially a multiple time all star, who's an expiring as well.

Those practices, run throughs, video sessions, etc. result in W's.

If he is coaching a team that is taking winning seriously, I dont see it being a problem.

He could ease up on the in game minutes, I would agree there. He personally said he is going to change his philosophy there, so we'll see this season.

The bulls are gonna win 55-65 games and be a top seed tho. The last 3 years with derrick rose in the lineup they play at a 65-67 win pace.

The Bulls record in the reg season when Noah, Boozer, Deng, and Rose play together?

50 - 9 (.847) :mindblown:

I cant believe they have only played 59 games together in the regular season though :sadcam:

Now add Jimmy Butler to the equation? :noah:

Nope, as I said, he never was impressive when i was WATCHING games. Sure stats are fun and all, but there's much more to defense than swatting shots in the third row. No way in the world he's as good a defender as Olajuwon, Mutombo, Mourning or Ben Wallace. His DPOYs fall in the category "Well we have to give it to someone and we usually give it to a big guy".

I'll give him rebounds, but is that enough to make him elite/franchise player when you can't rely on him to make a post move or a FT in crunch time? Not in my personal opinion.
