My favorite discussion of hip hop is the Origin, which came first, Kufi Konsciousness or Club Music. The thing is hip hop was born out of the Disco era but also the Soul/Funk era. The Soul/Funk era particularly, take James Brown for instance, was talking about women he loved but Black Pride as well. Hip Hop was born in the Bronx from Jamaican DJs, spinning records for African American and Puerto Rican party goers.
It has diverse.........................................Origins...........so Real Hip Hop is an interesting term
