I would argue from a mainstream relevance standpoint that this is easily the most important single of his career.

I wonder what it will sound like :lupe:

He said he's going after the charts with this album (Tetsuo & Youth) and back to the traditional with his final on Atlantic (Skulls), so this single can sound like anything from europop garbage with a dumbed down Lupe spitting struggle bars to a radio friendly hit that maintains his artistic credibility like Superstar did.

We'll see on monday :lupe:

EDIT: Out now

I don't like/dislike the guy, I don't listen to his music. He seems pretty clued up on music though, likes his hip hop.

He was in the studio with Game not long ago

I heard lupe didn't even choose the beat beat for this
It was Atlantic who chose it

I thought that Crack feat. Chris Brown song was supposed to be. That ain't leak right?

I think Atlantic flipped it around. It's looking like Crack will now be the second single and Old School Love will be first. As long as those songs aren't complete garbage, they have the potential to be huge hits off name alone.

lets hope he doesnt sample a classic beat again :snoop:

You mean the classic song Pete Rock and CL Smooth themselves sampled to begin with?

Pete Rock said he was fine with them doing it at first, then acted brand new when it came out. And let's not act like Lupe didn't do the sample justice :comeon: that song was good.

Ed's dope, he came up fukking with cats in the UK hip hop / dubstep scene, he even did an EP with Yelawolf.

This has actually got me interested in hearing what Lupe gonna bring to the table.
