Hooks are strong throughout. Only aspects I didn't like is that creepy kissing noise Lupe makes on the ITAL hook when he's like "and some kisses *kiss*...for the babies"(hook is great but the part was so necessary) and the the hook for bytch bad being "bytch bad....woman good....lady better", because the term "lady" is corny, nerdy and awkward as fukk and most men ain't calling a woman that no matter how much they respect them. I would've preferred "bytch bad....girl good....woman better"

Other than that I think the hooks are great. Not stuff you'd usually here on a mainstream major hip hop release, but you check it out and see how you feel.

Its straight blasphemous to even compare this to F&L. That shyt was a breath of fresh air when it leaked. hurt Me soul, american terrorist, theme music to a drive by, steady mobbin, sunshine, the cool, kick push, the instulmental were instant classics that you had to put on repeat. Beats on point, dope hooks and lyrically amazing.

This album is cool right now but nothing really moves me like the songs mentioned above on first few listens. The first track is the closest to do so. But to mention this new shyt with the OG is SMh worthy.

Lyrics is great, nothing surprising from Lupe, lyrically he ALWAYS brings it....

but the beat selection is questionable. Sounds very pop.

The Cool shyts on this album beatwise.

The Cool is HIS BEST ALBUM to date.

The Cool was just a MASTERPIECE.

F&LII is still up there with the best albums of the year though.

I still think that "Put his hand on his behind, put your penis next to mine" sh1t is sticks out like a sore thumb on what is a pretty damn amazing track.
And B*tch bad still isn't my cup of tea, I don't think I'll ever go back to it.
